all the lovely little details

what to expect in a weekly session:

what you’ll make:

we’ll focus on different shapes, techniques or forms in each class. you’ll walk away knowing how to create mugs, bowls, cups, vases, and other objects, along with 10-12 finished microwave and dishwasher safe pieces.

where we’ll make it:

class occurs outdoors at our screened + covered backyard studio.

expect flora, fauna, and general #florida phenomena. don’t worry, we won’t get rained on and mosquitos won’t eat you alive either, but make sure to dress for a mess and the weather - long pants and/or closed toed shoes are recommended.

how you’ll practice:

you can come early on mondays (2p-6p) or stay late on sundays (12:30-4) if we don’t have any classes scheduled.

how we’ll glaze it:

glazing occurs on the last sunday/monday of every month. we’ll fire within two weeks of class to allow you time to finish glazing during the week. glazing takes a while sometimes.

are all materials provided?

cost includes a bag of clay to be used at your leisure during practice hours, as well as tools and glazes.

during classtime, we’ll provide clay to make with.
